Repeat Prescriptions

If you need to take medicines on a regular or long-term basis, you may be given a printout from the computer. This should be handed in to reception at least 3 working days before the prescription is needed. All prescriptions will be ready after 4.00pm. Alternatively, you may find it convenient to post your repeat prescription to us with a stamped, self-addressed envelope or you might like to ask your local chemist if they offer a repeat prescription service. Telephone or faxed requests for prescriptions will not be accepted for reasons of safety and to avoid blocking the phone lines.

Repeat Prescriptions

Important: When ordering your medication, please allow 3 working days to process the request. It is your responsibility as a patient to ensure you have an adequate supply of your medication.

Our preferred method for you ordering repeat prescriptions is via the NHS Wales App – for more information please visit app.nhs.wales/login

Alternatively, you can order repeat prescriptions via the following methods:

  • By Email: Please email any repeat prescription requests to the surgery on enquiries.w91036@wales.nhs.uk
  • In Person: Drop off your repeat slip or request into the letterbox or drop box in reception
  • Pharmacy: If your Pharmacy offers a manages prescription service, please continue to hand your repeat slips into them so they can order your medication on your behalf.

We cannot accept prescription requests over the phone.
